I trained as an actress and an English language teacher in 1991. With STILE, I combine my two passions: empowering English language learners and language teachers with storytelling, theatre practises and improvisation. I help my participants to take a breath, a leap of faith and learn to trust themselves.
In my 90 minute New Year online special , I’m offering a fresh approach to email and letter writing lessons. It’s called ‘Speaking letters: Letters that really get your learners talking’.
We’ll look at exchanges in letter and email form which grow and tell a story through improvised speaking, NOT writing. Think an epistolary play or novel.
