If you’re not sure about whether I’m the right teacher for you, you can book a few online sessions to see if you like my approach. I also realise that coming to the UK can feel hugely challenging both in terms of time and money.
I’m happy to work with you online, but there is nothing like a face to face immersion programme in Faversham, Kent to really transform your English language communication. With immersion programmes you’ll be speaking English 24/7, both in personalised language focused sessions and communicating with lots of different people beyond the language learning space. There are opportunities to explore the area too and learn about the history, the geography of the region and the culture. You’ll go on a pub crawl, meet the locals, have a historic tour of Faversham, a dinner out and a trip to a country house or the beach ( all included in the price)
No, you don’t stay with me. I can help or advise you on places to stay in Faversham. There are a variety of places to stay from hotels to Airbnb’s or I can even organise a host family for you. If you find somewhere you’d like to stay, I’ll go and look at it for you to make sure it’s of the highest standard.
I always make sure that you will be in group with other learners who have a similar level to you. Sometimes, there might be a little disparity. If you are B1, the other learner might be B2 or vice versa. However, in real life you will find that no two adults who use English to communicate with other non-native English language users will have exactly the same level. This can be both a challenge and a joy.
You have to make sure you can be understood and understand what the others say. On the courses I offer, we look at any breakdowns in communication and analyse what happened. This can be very revealing and can help you to become a better communicator. You can then use this experience as a way of practising what you’ll meet in real life.
Yes, if you or your company or you and a friend would like to book a closed group which is dedicated to your personal or company needs, then I can definitely do that.
I have a limit of 4 people in any group programme. If you were more than four people I would divide you into two groups. Please do feel free to get in touch and ask any further questions around this topic.
Faversham is easily accessed from some of the main London airports. Gatwick, London Stansted and London City airports are most convenient. From Gatwick, you can take the Gatwick express to Victoria train station. Then take a train to Faversham.
